Samsung Sets a New Guinness World Record for typing out a text message

I'm sure we've all had our fair share in lousy touchscreen mobile phones that makes you feel like screaming everytime you type a message on it, but Samsung Mobile just broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest text created on their Samsung Omnia II handset, the first phone to feature Swype input method for texting. The message, which was typed out in a mere 35.54 seconds was a whole 5 seconds to spare compared to the previous record of 40.91 seconds. I hate to admit this, the reason why I'm still stuck with a phone with keypad is because I can never get used to touchscreens, but it'll definitely be interesting to test out the Swype texting method currently only available on Samsung phones for now. However, it is expected to come pre-loaded in an unnamed Andropd phone that should be launched this year. Hit the jump to watch the record breaking video.
