at the newly launched Microsoft Experience Centre. Microsoft today
launched the Experience Centre on the 4th floor of Low Yat Plaza, the
first of its kind to allow consumers to gain information and updates on
anything and everything about Microsoft.

Centre as an avenue to create stronger awareness amongst consumers on
the value of genuine software. This centre marks Microsoft’s continuous
efforts in educating consumers on Microsoft’s latest technologies and
the rewards of buying genuine. This is in line with the Government’s

Understanding that the PC market in Malaysia is growing at a healthy
rate and more than 70% of sales come from the retail segment, Microsoft
decided to launch the Experience Center to reach out to consumers and
strengthen their relationship with the retail partners in the well-known
IT mall. The location was also strategically selected because according
to research from Gfk Retail and Technology Malaysia, Low Yat Plaza is a
substantial source from which 55% of Malaysia’s total PC shipments of
1.6 million come from.
From now till 31 July 2010, all you have to do is purchase a genuine
Windows 7 or Office 2007/2010 and you can stand a chance to drive home a
BMW320i or win fantastic prizes such as a trip for 2 to Bali, a 42” LCD
TV and many more. All you need is a genuine copy of the respective
Microsoft products, a receipt as proof of purchase, answer a simple
question and sign “Genuine” in your most creative manner, and submit
your entry at the Microsoft Experience Centre located on the 4th Floor
of Low Yat Plaza.
