Quite Possibly The Coolest Handphone Stand You'll See Today

Gundam figurines have been a mainstay to many a young man's adolescent life. Those scale models which start out as nothing but plastic pieces in those snap off skeletons we all have such a love hate relationship with, eventually even in the clumsiest of hands will materialize into a poseable robot.

To mark the 30th anniversary of Gundam figurines, Bandai is teaming up with Japanese network Softbank for a limited edition Gundam phone. You're probably thinking it's just another run-of-the-mill phone from Japan and may even be right, but the thing to note here is not the phone, but the dock.

Each unit comes with a 1:100 scale Gundam model kit with a phone cradle and those decals which I never could bother to fiddle with. Now this is one phone cradle/dock that will get you serious geek cred, or kicked out of the house by your girlfriend/wife.
