PostHeaderIcon Pimp your netbook with the Century USB dock

If you're an avid netbook user, then you've probably already accustomised yourself to surviving without the regular comforts of a full featured notebook. Things like a CD-ROM and an array of connectors are just some of the many things a netbook user has to forgo to achieve maximum portability, but don't you wish there was a quick and easy fix for this?
Well apparently now there is one, besides the obvious choice of upgrading to a fully featured notebook, but as far as we can tell it's only available in Japan.
Developed by a Japanese company called Century, this slick looking USB dock is the answer to all most of your netbook pimping prayers. As you can see from the picture above, it houses a DVD Super Multi Drive, and has space for an additional SATA HDD/SSD under the hood. It also comes with a cooling fan, as well as additional USB ports. There's also a jack for an additional DC adapter, should the need for one arise.
Retailing for about twice the price of a standard slim profile external USB DVD-ROM at ¥9,980 (approx. RM355) you can check out more details on the official site (if you can read Japanese) here: http://tinyurl.com/dedvfp
