DiGi confirm ada 3G!
Remember how albnok conveniently stumbled upon DiGi's 3G coverage here in Mid Valley City a while ago? Well, finally you can put an end to any speculation that you previously had (which you've probably already done by now anyway) because DiGi has officially launched their 3G services in Penang and Sabah.
Called Turbo 3G, this new service is the result of a RM150 million commitment that was made three years ago, and today covers approximately 70% of Penang Island and 95% of Kota Kinabalu. Offering theoretical speeds of up to 14.4Mbps HSDPA (obviously speeds will be way lower than that!), the best part about this announcement is definitely the price point for these packages – RM5 a day for unlimited daily usage and RM58 a month for unlimited monthly usage!
