STAGE MONITOR SHAPED SPEAKERS FOR THE ROCK STAR IN YOU
These accessories range from ridiculous stuff such as smoke kit (yes, it exist, people) to geeky full-scale controllers licensed by actual manufacturers such as Fender and Ludwig. You can now add one more to the list - stage monitors.
As per other music games peripherals, these "monitors" from Altec Lansing and Polk Audio might have the look of the real deal but they do not actually work like one. In actual stage sound science, monitors are usually used for performers to help them hear their instruments or vocals while both Altec's Stage Gig and Polk's HitMaster are just regular speakers.
Who cares how it works anyway? We can't help but drool and imagine what they can do to our Rock Band setup. As both Altec Lansing and Polk Audio have distributors in Malaysia, we believe that these 40w and 60w "monitors" should be available here very soon. But until it's 100% confirmed, we are going to keep a look for you virtual riff masters out there.
