Apple Fires Back, Countersues Nokia
Last week, Apple has filed a countersuit, in reply to the one made by Nokia back in October. According to the company, the Finnish telco giant has infringed 13 of their patents and also, overcharged Apple for technology licensing fee at rates that are far beyond the industry’s standard practice.
“Other companies must compete with us by inventing their own technologies, not just by stealing ours,” - Bruce Sewell, Apple’s General Counsel and senior vice president.
Well, looks like this is going to be a long legal battle. By the way, what took you so long to fire back, Apple?
