Android, you’re “free like a puppy”!

It seems like it has been reported that Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 will be delayed until 2011 because of Google Android. An European publication stated that Windows Mobile will be a no-show in 2010 due to the tough competition brought on my Android OS, and it will only make an appearance at the World Mobile Congress in February 2011. Microsoft is reportedly afraid that Windows Mobile 7 won’t measure up to Android 2.0. Could this be the reason James DeBragga, Consumer Product GM, Microsoft, said that the Android OS is “free like a puppy” and trouble will come once you start using it during the recent CES? DeBragga later added on that Windows Mobile is better in terms of end-to-end support because they have an established process for supporting smartphone developers.
