The launch of the all-new Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors certainly does give us much to look forward to, yesterday, Acer just launched several new Acer Aspire, all equipped with these latest processors that can deliver exceptional performance and great connectivity. While the new Aspire 5740G, 4740 and 4740G are equipped with the Intel Core i5 and i3 processor, the Aspire 5942 G is powered by the most powerful processor yet, the Core i7. During the launch, Acer also debuted the Aspire One A0532 netbook equipped with the Intel Atom N450 processor.

One of the most attractive designs a laptop can have is a frameless display that makes it look big and seamless. Delivering the ultimate entertainment experience to users, the Aspire 5942G comes with a wide cinematic 16:9 HD frameless display featuring Acer CineBoost Color Engine and the latest 3rd Generation Dolby Home Theater audio enhancement, and also the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 with 1GB of video memory.

While the Aspire 4740 is powered by the Core i3 processor, the Aspire 5740G and 4740G are powered by the Intel Core i5 processor with TurboBoost technology that can dynamically accelerate performance to match the workload, and optimize the energy used allowing near zero power consumption for inactive cores.

Designed to deliver cinematic entertainment, the Aspire 4740, 4740G and 5740G comes with a cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit display and are equipped with a Dolby-optimized surround sound system. With two built-in stereo speakers that are complemented by True5.1-channel surround sound output, these notebooks promises to deliver the purest high definition sound.
