The World's First Camera Could Be Yours for RM3.4 million!
Just when you thought you’ve seen the most expensive camera that is gold plated and comes with its own serial number, a 170 year old camera pops up for auction this May in Vienna. The camera, which looks like a square wooden box with a lens look-alike device sticking out at one side, will be going for bid at a starting price of 200,000 euro (just under RM1 million) and is expected to reach up to 700,000 euro! Now, I may not be blessed with enough knowledge about cameras and its value as the camera that is believed to be the world’s first commercially-produced camera, but I’m sure passionate collectors are definitely looking forward to its auction.
