Allowing someone to have remote access to your car so they can disable it for whatever reason (whether you’ve missed your payments or your car’s been stolen) can be cool, but not when the auto center starts firing their staffs. Recently in Texas, a man was very angry about his dismissal from his job so he logged into the Webtech Plus, a “repossession software that allows the dealership to disable a car’s ignition or trigger the horn to honk when a payment is due”, with his former colleague’s username and password and took his revenge – by disabling over 100 cars before someone realized what was going on. Thankfully though, according to Pay Technologies, the operator of the Webtech Plus software, the horn honking can only be activated between 9am and 9pm, no one welcomes mindless honking in the middle of any nights.

Angry Man Disables Over 100 Cars As a Revenge
