DiGi accused of cheating RM500,000,000

If conspiracy theories rock your boat, then waking up this Monday morning should be an easy task because an independent news agency called MATHABA has reported that DiGi has been cheating an estimated half-billion Malaysian Ringgit from its customers a year.
According to the agency, tests (without any published evidence, mind you) on DiGi’s network have revealed routine rerouting of calls to voice-mail boxes even when the call recipient is located in an area with full network coverage.
How this testing was done, no one knows for sure, but certain facts and sentiments within the article do have us rolling our eyes at the author’s credentials. Citing that “DiGi doesn’t operate 3G services” is but one of the tell-tale signs of how well versed the authors are with the yellow telco, but like I said, it’s an interesting read nonetheless.
