PostHeaderIcon Twitter Increases User Safety With New Link Shortener Service

If you are one of those heavy Twitter spammers users, you might have recently received a number of Direct Messages (DM) that contains questionable links from your followers. While some of us are sharp enough aware enough not to click on them, we can’t say the same for many. Not to blame them but their non-intentional actions has led to the spread of DM spams throughout Twitter.
The team at Twitter themselves are very much aware of that unhealthy activity and determined to put a stop to it with their Twt.tl URL Shortener service. From now on, all links that is submitted to Twitter will have to go through this service, so that Twitter can detect any bad links and make necessary actions before it goes out.
If you ever see a shortened link with an http://twt.tl address around, that's the service at work. Good to know that you got our backs covered, Twitter. Keep it up!
