If you’re familiar with the name Steve McCurry, then you would know that he’s the man behind the iconic Afghan Girl, but if you’re not then consider yourself educated.
Having recently concluded an exhibition of his works here in Kuala Lumpur, Epson Malaysia has teamed up with the man himself have put up an autographed reprint of one of his photos entitled “Ship Breaking Yard, Karachi” (picture above) for sale on eBay Malaysia. While the sale of an autographed reprint itself may not be all that awe inducing, the fact that the proceeds from the said sale will be going to Rumah Nur Salam Charity is.
Good Samaritans and art collectors alike can access the charity auction at http://www.ebay.com.my/charity from March 4 – March 14, and since we here at Lowyat.NET are all for charity, we laud you to drop by and do your bit.
