Your Future PSP May Come With Phone Capabilities

If you already have the first generation PSP and the newer versions with a slimmer body or one that slides out doesn’t appeal to you because, well, you can still play the same games, then perhaps a PSP with phone capability might. According to Wall Street Journal, it is said that Sony will be developing a smartphone that will be utilizing several of their existing platforms such as the PlayStation Network for gaming contents, PlayStation Portable handheld gaming device, and its Sony Ericsson phone division. Although it has been reported before that Sony did not want the PlayStation brand to run with Sony Ericsson, it seems like they’re changing their mind now, in order to get competitive with Apple. It is also said that Sony will be developing an iPad competitor as well.
