Android Marketplace Clocks In 50,000 Apps
In light of the recent surge in Android
news on Lowyat.net,it almost seems apt that last weekend, the Android OS
celebrated the milestoneof having 50,000 apps in their market place.
Granted, this is only a quarter ofwhat Apple has in their app store and
they did take longer to reach 50k, butkudos to them, I’m anticipating
more and greater quality apps in the future. Havingrecently tested the
waters in a change from the usual blue icon to the nicegreen paper bag, I
can see potential for the apps of the future and can’t waitto see what
apps 2.2 aka froyo will spawn.
