How can you slim down something that is already too light in the first place? That is exactly our thought when we found out that Nike Football is coming out with an even lighter version of their super lightweight Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II boot. But if the world’s top footballers are demanding it, who are we to ask, right?

The souped-up version of the Superfly II will be joined by three other boots in Nike Football’s family - Tiempo Legend III, CTR360 Maestri and Total 90 Laser III - to form a collection of lightweight-oriented high performance boots that they called the Elite Series. All of them were given a weight reduction treatment with up to 19% of their original weight and a new high contrast colorway that is supposed to provide better visibility for your other teammates to pass the ball on to you.

On top of them all, the Elite Series boots are also Nike Football+ ready. However, with a price tag that ranges from RM 1299 to RM 1499, these supercharged boots are certainly out of reach for many of us.
