P1 W1GGY now with OS X support, new pricing structure

Mac users can now look to be truly mobile thanks to the recent introduction of compatibility between the P1 W1GGY and Snow Leopard (v10.5 and 10.6).In conjunction with that, P1 has also introduced a new pricing structure for the USB WiMAX service dongle and has done away with contracts altogether. Although P1 WiMAX doesn't exactly hold the reputation for being the most reliable mobile broadband provider out there, it is good to see that they are still trying to stay competitive in terms of pricing. The added Mac support will surely open up a whole new untapped market, but one does wonder if all the bad press around (and trust us, there's a LOT) will have any negative effect on the uptake.
