Apparently, AMD users have been seeing no love from motherboard
producers ever since the introduction of USB 3.0. That's set to change
however, because Taiwanese manufacturer
Gigabyte has
recently introduced the
GA-870-UD3 motherboard, the
world’s first motherboard for the AMD platform to receive SuperSpeed USB
certification from the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF). Besides USB
3.0, the motherboard also features Gigabyte's proprietary
Gigabyte
ON/OFF Charge technology that allows you to charge your
iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad at an accelerated rate.
