Calling all shutterbugs! The annual Digital Camera, Imaging and Media Show (DCIM Show 2010) has descended upon us once again for the second year running. DCIM is by far the largest and most complete photography and imaging exhibition and promises to have something for everyone; whether you use DSLRs, Rangefinders, Medium Format behemoths or even Point and Shoot compacts, there will be eye candy for you to drool over.

DCIM also features all the mainstay brands in the world of digital and analogue photography such as pinnacle sponsors Canon and Panasonic, main sponsors Nikon, Leica and Samsung as well as other participating brands like Western Digital, Sigma and Lowepro to name a few.

On top of having all the latest gear for you to test out before you succumb to the poison to take advantage of the amazing deals available, there will also be seminars and workshops held by well-known photographers to take your photography to the next level.

Coinciding with DCIM 2010, there will also be Velocity Angel Search 2010, a modeling competition where 10 fresh faces will be vying for the chance to adorn the covers of magazines such as T3 and Digital Camera Malaysia. See? There are even models to shoot with your brand new 70-200mm f2.8 L lens you just bought!

Personally I’m excited to see the booths from Leica & Shriro (Hasselblad), being a more unconventional rangefinder shooter myself, as well as attending all the interesting talks and workshops while I’m there. DCIM 2010 will be held from 11am on the 14^th to 16^th of May 2010 at Hall 2 & 3, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.
