The Fujifilm F200 EXR, the first compact camera from Fujifilm that features the proprietary Super CCD EXR technology, has finally arrived in Malaysia. This PMA Innovative Digital Product award winner can be set to take photos at a whopping 12 mega pixels, however higher amount of mega pixels doesn't guarantee better pictures.

This is where the Super CCD EXR comes into play. Modelled to mimic the human eye, the EXR sensor can detect the environment (low light, etc) that you are in as well as the subject (person, building, etc) you are shooting and intelligently select the most appropriate mode to shoot in - High Resolution Priority (HR) for maximum detail in well lit conditions, High Sensitivity and Low Noise (SN) for high quality low-light work, and Wide Dynamic Range (DR) for the best detail with contrasting subjects.

Other key features of the Fujifilm F200 EXR are a 3-inch LCD scren, dual image stabilisation, 5x (28-140mm) wide-angle optical lens, ISO 12800, full manual controls and HDMI output. The Fujifilm F200 EXR is available now and retails at RM1399.
