HP announced the winners of the Toon Creator Awards for Asia Pacific

The result for the HP and Cartoon Network Toon Creator Awards for Asia Pacific is out and guess who walked away with the grand prize that will make you and me jealous of a 9 year-old boy. If you guessed Malaysia, then you’re correct; Mohammad Aidy Adham won the first prize from 31,000 individual and school contest entries from the entire Asia Pacific region. He is also the Individual Country winner for Malaysia, which received a total of 2321 entries.
“The level of quality and creativity displayed by the winners of this year’s inaugural Toon Creator Awards was outstanding and we firmly believe that each and every one has a bright future ahead of them, be it in animation or any other creative field. This competition sits very close to our hearts at HP as creativity breeds innovation, something we continually strive to achieve on a daily basis.” -- Mr. Danny Lee, Country General Manager, Personal Systems Group, HP Malaysia.
More after the jump.
