PostHeaderIcon TM To Launch Netbooks Packages for Local University Students Soon

First announced by our Prime Minister during the 2010 Budget presentation last October, the netbooks packages for university students will be available to them soon according to the package provider, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).

As stated during our PM’s presentation, the package will only cost students a monthly instalment of RM 50 per month for two years and comes with a free broadband Internet services. TM's Vice President of Retail Product, Aziz A. Hadi stated that the initial release will be offered to 100,000 students and priority will be given to first-year students and also, for students that comes from low-income families. However, more details about the packages will only be revealed by TM later on.

Since package's cumulative price would equal to RM 1200 (provided that there are no extra fees whatsoever), we reckoned that the demands for it will be very high once it is available to students. We just hope that TM already have a working mechanism that is able to coupe to the high demands or else, some unlucky students have to play the awfull waiting game.
