Remember the Nike Football+ interactive training program that we posted some time ago? Soon, more than 700 youth across Klang Valley will have the opportunity to experience them live on the football field itself through Nike Elite Training Live program, made possible through Nike Malaysia partnership with Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

The live version of the program is not just series of video presentation, instead it is going to a very serious hands-on training program sessions that are conducted by FAM coaches featuring drills and tips from Nike Football+ . It will not only serve as a grassroots football development program but it will also be a place to find new players that might has been overlooked at FAM’s other selection channels.

Even K.Rajagobal, the coach that helped our national football team bagged the country’s first ever SEA Games football gold medal after 20 years of drought, approves of the Nike Elite Training Live program.

“We are excited at the coming together of FAM and Nike Malaysia to recognize, reward and train young talent. The elite program will provide a fantastic opportunity to improve our talent pool with internationally recognized training techniques that will hopefully produce our very own next generation of football stars that can compete at the very highest level” – K. Rajagobal, Malaysian national football team coach.

After experiencing the drills ourselves at Wisma FAM earlier today, we believe that it is not too exaggerating to say that this program is pretty much the next best thing to training together with Nike’s elite football players and coaches who are involved in developing all the drills that are featured in Nike Football+.

Meanwhile, don’t feel that as if you are missing out due to your “non-youth” age. As explained in previous posts, the Nike Football+ interactive coaching program is available to everybody at Nike Football official website (http://www.nikefootball.com.my). All you got to is sign up and rope in couple of your footie mates to practice together on the field.
