PostHeaderIcon Cause of Sony PlayStation Network Glitch Found - Blame Leap Year

It looks like Sony have finally found out the cause of the PlayStation Network glitch on the fat PS3 that happened yesterday – apparently the internal clock thought that the year 2010 is a leap year, thus adding February 29 to the clock. During the glitch, Sony even recommended users to stop playing their fat PS3, fearing that data may be lost because it was not able to update information such as trophies obtained and other achievements. If you’re a user of the PS3 slim, then you would have nothing to worry about but if you’re still having problems with your fat PS3, Sony advices you to try adjusting the time settings manually or via the Internet. Now that’s a relief, I was worried that all my data were gone!
