PostHeaderIcon NVIDIA Says Hello To DirectX 11 with GeForce 400 Series

After teasing eager enthusiasts for quite some time, the new NVIDIA Fermi-based graphic cards are now ready to be released into the market. This milestone is marked by the official launch of the GeForce 400 graphic card series – the company's first consumer line-up to be based on the new GPU and also, the first to support DirectX 11 - at PAX East last weekend.
For starters, only two top-of-the-line cards from the family – the GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 – will be made available for the public. Scheduled to be on the store shelves in mid-April, they are going to cost RM 1,632 (UD 499) and RM 1,141 (USD 349) respectively. The rest of the GeForce 400 family members will be released in stages in upcoming months to fulfil various demands in the market.
We not going to elaborate much on the cards performance since you know, we need to test them ourselves in order to do that *hint hint, NVIDIA* but nevertheless, do enjoy the complete specifications and product shots for both GTX 480 and also, GTX 470 right after the break. Alternatively, you can also visit NVIDIA's official website (http://www.nvidia.com) for even more detailed information.
