Soon, the Animax as we know will not look the same anymore. On 3 May 2010, the dedicated Japanese anime channel will refresh itself with a new look that includes a revamped logo and…wait for it…new set of graphics that will be featuring elements from viewers themselves!

This is how it basically works: once the new update goes up, each show will be introduced by a pre-show introduction that looks like the shot above and the background image of the introduction is what Animax will obtain from viewers. Hence, it is an opportunity for all Animax viewers to make their mark on the channel in which will be viewed by millions of fellow viewers all over Asia!

However, Animax has yet to mention how viewers are able to submit their contributions. Guess that information will be revealed once the new look goes on-screen this coming May. Apart from the new look, a number of new programming selections from Korea that consists of music, variety, reality and drama shows are going to make their way to the channel. 

That’s not all though; Animax will also be having a contest specially to celebrate the channel’s updated look. Up for grabs will be flight tickets, accommodation and passes for two to attend the upcoming Animax Musix Spring 2010 - a 2 day music extravaganza all the way in Japan! 

Despite the new look and the addition of new life action shows from Korea, Animax are still committed to deliver the best of Japanese anime to all fans, as they did for the past six years.
