Acer recently just launched the all new Aspire TimelineX4820G, delivering you not only the same lightweight and thin form factor as the previous Timeline series, but also improved battery life and performance.

Built with the latest Intel Core i5 processor, the 4820G not only boast a great performance; with the optimized efficiency built into the processor, the new laptop is very energy efficient and together with the Acer PowerSmart Technology, it can have a long battery life of up to 12 hours. The technology also allows the 4820G to consume 66% less power than the standard required by Energy Star.

While the light weight of 2.2kg and a thinness of only 24mm makes the new TimelineX is an ideal device for travellers, the dedicated graphics, HD multimedia, Dolby Home Theater v3 audio and advanced connectivity makes it a perfect model for gamers, movie buffs and music lovers too.
Additionally, the TimelineX features a number of energy-saving components:

* Backlit LED panels combined with Intel® Display Power Savings (iDPST), which guarantee a 30% reduction in energy consumption while maintaining the same image quality.
* A new generation of hard disk, which ensures low consumption (about 40% less than standard models) and at the same time, lower operating temperatures and less noise.
* A revised cooling system, which uses low-energy fans to reduce battery consumption to a minimum.
* The new family of Intel® Core™ i processors that optimizes efficiency automatically by adapting the available power to the workload required.

Priced at RM2,999.00, the TimelineX is packaged in design and material that are premium and catching to the eye. Its black-brushed aluminum cover gives the notebook an overall classy digital chic and slender look with added sturdiness and durability. The palm rest is given a sharp look with brushed metal finishing to prevent fingerprints.
At the launch, Acer also introduced five other models in addition to this Aspire TimelineX namely the Aspire 1825PTZ (Touch Notebook), Aspire 4741G, Aspire 4745G, Aspire 5741G and Aspire 5745G.
