PostHeaderIcon Tons of Security Fixes for April 2010

Looks like IT administrators are going to be rather busy this month. We were just made aware that Microsoft, Adobe and Oracle have just released quite a number of important security patches for their products that many of us depend on such as Microsoft Windows, Office and Exchange; Oracle Database and also, Adobe Acrobat and Reader.
For Microsoft products, we are looking at 11 different security bulletins which covered around 25 critical vulnerabilities that could lead to severe security issues such as remote code execution, spoofing, denial of service. Oracle is also not lacking in patches as well with 47 vulnerabilities fixes, together with some from Adobe for their popular PDF authoring and reader software.
Some of these fixes are meant for home users as well. So, make sure to keep your products up to date with these security fixes or you can just turn on your software’s automatic update capability so that you don’t have to manually keep track of future security patches anymore.
