PostHeaderIcon Intel Officially Unveils Core i3, i5 and i7 ULV Processors

Just few moments ago, Intel has officially announced that their Nehalem-based 32nm Core processors - Core i3, i5 and i7 - will soon be available in the form of ultra-low voltage (ULV) processors. Designed for ultra-thin notebooks, they are actually pretty similar to their full-voltage siblings in terms of features as the series signature technologies such as Intel Turbo Boost, Hyper Threading and the built-in HD Graphics are still intact within these new dual-core processors.
For starters, they will be available in four flavours:
- Core i7-660UM (1.33GHz, turbo speed up to 2.40GHz)
- Core i5-540UM (1.20GHz, turbo speed up to 2.00GHz)
- Core i5-430UM (1.06GHz, turbo speed up to 1.73GHz)
- Core i3-330UM (1.20GHz)
In addition to them, Intel has also introduced two more dual-core ULV processors - the Pentium U5400 (1.20GHz) and Celeron U3400 (1.06GHz). All these new ULV processors are already on their way to be equipped into bunch of new laptops made by Acer, Asus, Lenovo and MSI that are going to be available on the market starting from this June onwards…which are in just few days away. Get ready to check them out then!
