You Can Now See Through Your Notebook’s Monitor
Transparent displays may not be anything new in the IT industry, but the latest notebook with a 14-inch transparent OLED monitor from Samsung at the 2010 CES is definitely the world’s first and largest transparent OLED prototype. When the display is turned off, it is about 40% transparent, much better than the industry’s average of below 25%. I know most of you are probably wondering why on earth would you want a transparent display to ruin your privacy, but it’s just so futuristic. All it needs now touch-sensitivity on the display, and say “hello” to the future.
