If you’re still drooling over the iPad and can’t wait to get your hands on one, and you happen to have super skills that can take apart a laptop and assemble it back together in a different form AND still have it working, then you could be as cool as the Chinese hacker here who successfully turned his laptop into a giant touchscreen phone! It does seem rather fake though, the video did not show what OS was loaded into the laptop before it was taken apart, and we have no idea whether is it even a touch sensitive device to begin with? Nonetheless, it’s awesome! Unless you fit the criteria mentioned above, I would suggest that you don’t try to do what the guy in the video did, especially if it’s working fine and contains all your important data.
