PostHeaderIcon Canon's New IXUS Range Enters in Style with Fahrenheit

If you’re looking for a new point and shoot camera, look no further than the 3 new Canon Ixus cameras launched yesterday together with its brand ambassadors, Fahrenheit. Bringing new and enhanced features to the year 2010, the three new 2010 Ixus star players – Ixus 105, Ixus 130 and Ixus 210 - are packed with premium build quality, powerful performance and chic styling.
As usual, all the three new cameras are available in a very wide range of colors and on top of the features found on current Canon Ixus cameras such as the Digic 4 image processor that offers faster image processing, improved noise reduction and sharper image quality, and the ability to record HD movies (except Ixus 105), these new cameras also comes with new scene and shooting modes to help users take better pictures.
“We’re very delighted with the entry of 3 new Ixus models with its intelligent features equipped with tools for optimum performance. These 3 new entrants are add-ons to the existing 4 Digital ixus models to make the full range now a powerful 7. Besides that, with last year’s renewal of Fahrenheit as our Ixus ambassador, this will be the first launch they are joining us for and it will indeed make it more exciting.” -- Mr. Liew Sip Chon, President & CEO, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

Canon IXUS 105
Get stylish with the Ixus 105 packed with performance and value with the price of only RM799. The Ixus 105 features the Digic 4 image processor with increased image resolution of 12.1 MP, a 4x optical zoom and a 28mm wide angle lens. It also comes with a bigger display of 2.7" for a better view of what you are capturing.
Canon IXUS 130
One of my favourite element in this range of camera is the attractive colors that wraps around the lens as well. Measuring at only 17.8mm, the Ixus 130 is one of the most compact cameras available and is packed with the best features such as Smart Auto mode, high ISO, wink shutter and my favourite, the fish-eye distortion and Miniature Effect which gradually blurs the peripheral area of an image. The IXUS 130 is available immediately for RM1,099.

Canon IXUS 210
The Canon Ixus 210 comes with a very large LCD display of 3.5”, the largest screen amongst the three new cameras launched yesterday. The touchscreen display allows users to easily select what they want the camera to focus on and then it will automatically track and follow the movements of that subject. With a high image resolution of 14.1MP, the camera also features the new fish-eye and miniature effect found on the Ixus 130. The IXUS 210 is available for RM1,399.
