The Canon AE-1 Program Digital: A New, Old Camera
The 1981 Canon AE-1 Program SLR is a classic workhorse, many
still in use in today’s digital photography world. What happens when you
gut
one of those old time SLRs and stuff a 9-Megapixel digital compact
camera
inside? Yes, besides a film photographer dying a little bit inside, you
get the
Canon AE-1 Program Digital. The camera even includes image stabilization
and a
built in 4GB memory. What I would have liked to see is a step-by-step
build,
but looks like I’ll just have to settle for a minute long peek into how
it
works.
