PostHeaderIcon NVIDIA to Sync Desktop and Notebook Drivers Release Date

If there is one major downside to laptops, that would be their graphic drivers. You see, laptops - gaming or non-gaming alike - are usually equipped with custom GPU drivers that are model-specific and to make it worse, manufacturers have a really bad track record in getting them updated with latest enhancement and features from GPU manufacturers. Hence, many laptop users are left with non-optimized drivers as time passed by.
This is exactly the reason why NVIDIA introduces the Verde laptop driver program in 2008 which enables the company to work hand-in-hand with laptop manufacturers to cater to their customizations while making sure that the GPU in user’s laptop will always be optimized with new features and so on.Come this May, the company is going to take the program’s one step further by syncing new Verde release date together with NVIDIA’s desktop driver.

This doesn’t mean that they will be released in one single package but nevertheless, this is great starting point towards that. Meanwhile, not all NVIDIA-equipped laptops are compatible with Verde, so make sure to read each driver's release note before performing the upgrade. For more information, check out Verde's official page at NVIDIA's official website (http://www.nvidia.com).
