GM and Google to Integrate Android into Cars?

After powering quite a number of cell phones and laptops, Android will soon be heading to your cars as well. According to Motor Trend, General Motors (GM) is currently working with Google in order to use the operating system as the basis of their future in-car telematics solution. Such system is not exactly a new thing as Microsoft and Ford already has one - called Sync -  in the market. However, the Android-based system is said to be able to provide more functions than Sync such as remote locking, ignition and car settings.

Sounds pretty interesting but will the Android-based system be available to future Chevrolet (one of the brands under GM) cars in Malaysia? We shall wait and see.
