After delayed for a month in order to sort out their domestic customers, Apple is finally ready to ship iPad to international destinations. Eager users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK can now look forward to their spanking new Apple iPad on Friday, May 28; according to a statement from the company.


Interestingly, the news release also mentioned that Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore would receive their iPad in July. Our country is still not in list – where’s the love, Apple? - but the prospect of getting one in Singapore is very attractive indeed. Guess this D.I.Y MicroSIM conversion might come in handy, after all.
