PostHeaderIcon BlackBerry Bold 2 and Storm 2 officially arrive in Malaysia

The long anticipated BlackBerry Bold 2 and BlackBerry Storm 2 have finally dropped in Malaysia, and were unveiled in an elaborate two session launch in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

The all new Bold 9700, the choice for button mashing email addicts the world over, offers top-of-the-line performance, functionality and features support for 3G HSDPA, a 624 MHz processor, 256MB flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, a 3.2MP camera and a dazzling new 480 x 360 display.

However, if a clickable touch screen is more your thing, then the Storm 2 won’t disappoint. Enhanced with SurePress and SureType technologies, the Storm 2 comes with a more responsive on-screen keyboard as compared to its predecessor. The addition of Wi-Fi is also a welcome feature for hardened road warrior who wants to avoid being raped by international data roaming charges.

Both smartphones will be available (Bold 9700 is available now, Storm 2 will be available in February) via Celcom, DiGi and Maxis, so hit up their official websites for the pricing and package structures.
