PostHeaderIcon Kingston ups the RAM ante with double digit modules

Back in the day, 4GB of RAM was all it took to convert your dinky little workstation into a productivity monster. These days however, the very notion of a single digit RAM count is downright laughable. OK, I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself here, but when you receive a press release about brand new 16GB and 24GB RAM kits, its only natural for one to start day dreaming.

Fresh from the Taiwanese production lines of Kingston, come two brand spankin' new memory kits under the HyperX marquee. Produced specifically for the new Core i7 powered X58 and Core i5 powered P55 platforms, the 1600MHz triple and dual-channel kits are the perfect complement to some of the best motherboards on the market.

We are pleased to make available the largest HyperX memory kits ever for the prosumers, multimedia pro or super enthusiast who wants everything. Users working with the latest operating systems like Windows 7 64-bit can keep multiple programs open, run memory intensive video or photo applications, or run numerous virtual machines using 24GB or 16GB of DDR3 HyperX memory and create more efficiency and performance gains than ever before.” -- Ann Bai, DRAM Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston

As with most of Kingston' high end gadgetry, no retail price has been listed with the press release. Kingston did however attach a link to some interesting videos on the Kingston blog where they highlighted these awesome memory kits during CES 2010. Hit up the official Kingston blog here (http://tinyurl.com/yjfb27n) to catch a glimpse of these babies in action!
