Guitars Going Digital

I may not be a big fan of music, especially when it comes to instruments, but this Misa Digital Guitar is just too cool go to unnoticed. The guitar comes with a Linux-powered MIDI controller that fits onto existing guitars and no strings, giving it a very simple and sleek design. Because it is Linux-powered, the digital guitar software is open source, so if you’re up for it, you can always tweak it to your liking. Now before you come bashing me saying that traditional guitars with strings are better, Misa emphasized on their webpage that the digital guitar will never be a replacement to traditional guitars; instead, with the infinite number of ways the sound can be morphed, the Misa Digital Guitar is intended to complement a traditional one. Catch the video after the jump or visit Misa Digital for more information.
