You probably do not need an introduction the Nokia N900, so let me summarize the gist of it – it’s like a PC that can fit into your pocket. But don’t take my words for it, according to Glen Cha, Product Manager, Nokia Malaysia/Singapore, a stress test proved that the N900 is able to run up to 28 applications simultaneously without crashing – I opened up to 20 application during a brief testing session and although it was lagging when I tried to scroll around the menu, when an application is active, it is still able to run smoothly. Thanks to the ARM Cortex-A8 processor, up to 1GB of application memory and OpenGL ES2.0 graphics acceleration, the N900 is fully capable of multitasking, just like any PC – now you can enjoy your music while typing out a document and tuning into your game once in a while.
Browsing the Internet is a bliss on the N900, delivering a full desktop experience – say goodbye to being downgraded to a plainer view of a website purposely set up for mobile devices. Powered by Mozilla technology, websites can look the way they are supposed to and now this is the part most of you’ve been waiting for – yes you can play Facebook games on it with its full Adobe Flash 9.4 support. But I wouldn’t recommend it as something you should buy just to play Flash Facebook games because although it is packed with a powerful processor, waiting for the game to load alone is already enough to make you fall asleep, let alone playing the game.
