The Sony PlayStation Controller Now Have an Official Name

The new motion controller from Sony is now official, everybody, please meet the PlayStation Move, certainly a much better name compared to the rumored PlayStation Arc. The PlayStation Move comes with three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, advanced motion sensors, and a terrestrial magnetic field sensor topped up with the PlayStation Eye camera that acts as a color changing sphere, is able to deliver unrivaled accuracy in detecting motion. The PlayStation Eye camera that fits on the top of the three-piece controller (motion controller and sub controller), can also allow the camera to get an absolute 3D position. Sony also announced that 36 third-party developers and publishers have decided to support the PlayStation Move platform and will be expecting to release more than 20 games that are either dedicated to or supported with the PlayStation Move platform. As someone who can only afford one console and has chosen the PS3 over the Nintendo Wii, all I need now is a promising game and it’ll be time to save up for these new babies!
