The FTK future kitchen you see uses integrated mobile technology so you can communicate with various kitchen appliances remotely via SMS. Alright so maybe you can’t make tasty food like a human, but you can defrost food from the refrigerator so it’ll be ready to be cooked when you reach home, or, you use SMS to heat them up in the oven. Don't get your hopes up too high though, it's only a concept kitchen and even if it does become a reality, we might not get it in Malaysia. What I don't understand is, why can't they just make Wi-Fi enabled kitchen appliances so we can just send tweets to activate them? It can be cheaper and it won't require any SIM cards.
