PostHeaderIcon Hitler "Downfall" Parodies will Soon Be Removed From YouTube

You know how whenever something happens like the death of Michael Jackson, or the iPhone 4 gets leaked, people tend to use the movie Downfall to create a short parody clip? I’m sad to tell you that, it won’t be available anymore – on YouTube at least. The short snippet, taken from the award-winning German-Austrian film about Hitler, uses the scene of Hitler throwing a tantrum because he found out that they could not win the war. The subtitles will then be replaced with some fake text that is related to a particular topic. I’m sure a simple search on YouTube will give you hundreds of results unfortunately, one of the most recent clip about the iPhone 4G leak has been removed and it has been told that the rest of the videos will be too. Although the director of the movie seems fine and rather happy about the situation and even calls it a compliment, the Constantin Film’s legal team does not see it that way. Alright then, so maybe Downfall doesn’t need these kind of publicity, they have an award to do so; sad to hear that we won’t be getting anymore Hitler parodies anymore.
