Make your very own soda can fisheye lens for your SLR!

The fisheye effect is a little hit and miss for me. Some
people love it, the exaggerated barrel distortion, plumped up faces,
bendy
buildings and horizon lines, it is one of the things that have become
popular
with the rise of the Lomography scene worldwide. Photographers
who want to take things one step further can
now make their own fisheye lens for their DSLR with nothing more than
cheap,
readily available products sourced from the nearby hardware store, eBay
(or the
Lowyat.net forums) and corner shop. The design is based around a
body cap, soda
can, projector lens and peephole lens. While the components sound like
they
need a MacGyver style approach, it produces quite stunning digital
fisheye
shots for less than it cost to fill up a full tank of petrol.
Hit the source for detailed instructions how to make your
very own soda can fisheye lens!
