PostHeaderIcon How Durable is An Apple iPad?

With 700,000 strong units have gone off the shelves in just three days, we got to say that the Apple iPad is seriously one of the most successful product launch ever by the Cupertino-based company.  As expected, the Internet has now been filled with many iPad-related news and reviews that ranges from the usual geeky and technical way to those that are…slightly extreme. This one belongs to the latter.
In the name of science (yeah, right), the folks at PCWorld did the world a favor by sacrificing stress testing an Apple iPad so that we, the worldly users, would know the limitations of the device. Through the test, we now know that the iPad, liquid, gravity and hard surfaces don’t belong together. Of course, it is not actually hard to figure it out but it is good to see some visual proofs before some delirious users started to dip their iPad into a pot of Starbucks brew.
You check out the test’s footage yourself, right after the jump.
Be warned though: it is not for the faint of heart or über fanboys.
