PostHeaderIcon iPad Will Cause Insomnia



If you’re someone who likes to read a book right before bedtime just so you can fall asleep and drool onto your book, then an Apple iPad might not be a very good choice. No, not because your saliva might drown the gadget, but according to sleep researchers, the Apple iPad is very likely to cause insomnia with its bright display. However, a Kindle ebook reader will not suffer the same faith because of its lack of back lighting to confuse your body into sleeplessness. But of course, who would buy an iPad just to read books; if I wanted an ebook reader I could’ve easily used my phone, with an iPad, you’ll be buzy with all the other applications which will ultimately lead to sleeplessness. Playing Call of Duty 4 for 50minutes a night on the other hand, might not have the same effect.
