Gray Powell (The guy who misplaced the iPhone 4G prototype) must be feeling incredibly down these days. Losing a prototype next-generation phone which was supposed to be shrouded in a veil of secrecy, having his details plastered all over the internet and being known as the biggest scatterbrain in all of the interwebs. Can’t blame a guy for enjoying a nice tall German beer now can you? At least he still has a job with Apple! 

Things may finally be looking up for Gray. In a move of extreme generosity (or just damn good PR), German airlines Lufthansa have offered him a free flight to Munich; business class. According to this open letter shared via Twitter by the Director of Marketing and Customer Relations for Lufthansa America, Nicola Lange, the team at Lufthansa America has “noted with great interest your(Gray’s) passion for German beer and culture. So, where are my free tickets to Cuba then Havana Club? Or even a nice new camera from Solm, Germany then Leica? 

Well I hope he enjoys his break if he chooses to take them up on this offer (why wouldn’t he?) and this time, he should just leave whatever he is working on safely tucked away in the office.
