PostHeaderIcon PC Guru Brings to You More Excitement This PC Fair

If you notice that your tech savvy friends are avoiding you, it’s probably because PC Fair is near and they’re afraid you’ll bombard them with questions about what PC you should buy. Here’s an idea, why not spare them from the torment and ask the professionals at PC Guru – you can even get a look and feel of the computers before actually devoting yourself into buying one.

The economy last year may be bad, but according to Intel, it is you consumers that keep the IT market moving, especially in the notebook segment; high-end notebooks, netbooks and Intel CULV processor notebooks that promises thin and lightweight device with a long battery life. With the introduction of the new 2010 Intel Core processor family – the Core i3, i5 and i7, this year will be a much more exciting year for all of us to enjoy all the benefits of these new processors like:

1. Integrated Graphics – For the first time ever, Intel is having integrated graphics to deliver a better graphic experience at no extra cost.
2. Turbo Boost (Core i5 and i7 only) – The Turbo Boost can boost up the Ghz of your computer automatically, so whenever an application requires more, the performance will be boosted.
3. 32nm – a smaller die is better because the smaller it is, the less heat it produces and thus the performance will be better.
4. Smart cache – Unlike previous cores with fixed cache size, Smart Cache allows the cache to be shared between cores so whenever one requires more performance, they can have more cache.
5. Advance Encryption Standard (AES) – With 5-6 new instructions to help encrypt n decrypt data, these new processors can provide better security.

More after the jump including an opportunity to win a trip to outer space.

PC Guru will be back at KL Convention Centre for the fifth time from 16-18 April 2010, so don’t take my words for it, experience for yourself all the benefits of these new processors. You can also get a free consultation on what type of computers best suit you. You probably won’t need the best and most expensive computers out there, but you can get a hands-on experience on the latest and greatest devices such as the world’s fastest desktop processor, the Gulftown (Core i7 980X) processor that features 6 cores, 12 threads and 12MB cache.
That’s not all you’re going to get at PC Guru, to ensure that you really understand what they taught you, PC Guru will also have short quiz sessions for you to show off your knowledge n win prizes – we heard that it’s going to be very exciting so don’t miss out on it!
The excitement does not end here, if you’ve been following the “Blast Off with Turbo Boost” contest that gives you a chance to travel to space, it has been extended (for us lucky Malaysians only) till 18 April 2010, so get yourself a Core i5 or Core i7 powered computer during PC Fair this 16-18 April 2010 and be eligible to submit your entry for this once in a lifetime experience to travel to space!

Good news for you IT savvy people with friends bugging you about what computer they should buy, we heard that PC Guru might be expanding, so the next time you’re asked that question, you could easily ask them travel to an IT mall and get free consultations from PC Guru. No further information have been revealed yet, so stay tuned for more and for the meantime, make a date to visit PC Guru this weekend at KL Convention Centre on the 3rd floor, Room 302 & 303.
