You’ve seen vacuum cleaners that can navigate around and detect if it’s going to fall off an edge before turning to a different direction, there’s now a mop that does the same thing and even better – Mint, the robot mop. Unlike the vacuum cleaner that moves around anywhere it wants (and probably  the same place over and over again), Mint will make use of an indoor GPS tracking device to make sure the same spot is not cleaned twice, saving precious time and even electricity. Just like how you would do before mopping your floor, the robot mop will first sweep by using a dry rag to pick up dust and then use a wet cloth to polish things up. The robot mop is not available yet, and will probably not be available in Malaysia, but just so you’re curious or have a kind friend in the U.S. who don’t mind reserving it and sending it to you, it’s available for USD$249 (just below RM800).
